amarok software package provides easy to use media player based on the KDE Platform, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install amarok
amarok is installed in your system.
Make ensure the amarok package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep amarok *
You will get with amarok package name, version, architecture and description in a table
